Terms of Service

1. Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 May 2026

1.1. Who we are

“VisTxt”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to the VisTxt web app and related services available at vistxt.com.

1.2. What these terms cover

These Terms of Service apply when you create an account or use the VisTxt app at vistxt.com/app.html. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

1.3. How VisTxt works

VisTxt lets you upload video or audio files. We then:

  • process the media using AI models (Google Gemini),
  • generate a searchable transcript and deep overview, and
  • provide a conversational AI interface to explore the content.

AI is powerful, but not perfect. Output may contain errors or “hallucinations”. You are responsible for checking anything important before publishing.

1.4. Your responsibilities

You agree that you will:

  • only upload video or audio files you have the right to use;
  • not upload anything illegal, hateful, harassing, or infringing;
  • not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer VisTxt;
  • keep your login credentials safe and not share your account.

1.5. Plans, limits and fair use

VisTxt currently offers Pay-As-You-Go credits and a PRO monthly plan (details on the pricing section of vistxt.com).

  • We may enforce limits such as max file size (currently 250MB).
  • PRO plans may have a monthly cap on the number of uploads (e.g. 30 per billing period).
  • If we detect abuse, automated scraping or unusual load, we may throttle or suspend access to protect the service.

1.6. Ownership of content

You keep full ownership of the media files and recordings you upload and the content in them. By using VisTxt, you give us a limited licence to store and process your files and generate output (transcripts, keywords, hashtags) solely for providing the service to you.

We do not sell your files or share them with other users, and we do not use your private content to train public AI models.

1.7. Service changes and downtime

VisTxt may change over time. We may update features, pricing and limits, or temporarily take the service offline for maintenance. We’ll aim to keep disruption minimal, but we can’t guarantee zero downtime.

1.8. Termination

You can stop using VisTxt at any time by not logging in or by requesting account deletion via support@vistxt.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you seriously breach these terms, abuse the service, or use it in a clearly illegal or harmful way.

1.9. No guarantees (limitation of liability)

VisTxt is provided “as is”. We try to keep it reliable and accurate, but we don’t promise:

  • that it will always be available or error-free;
  • that AI output will always be correct or complete;
  • any particular business or SEO result from using the service.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for loss of profits, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of VisTxt.

Privacy Policy

2. Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 May 2026

2.1. What data we collect

When you use VisTxt, we may collect:

  • Account data - email address, basic profile info (if signing in with Google), and a user ID.
  • Usage data - which features you use, timestamps, and basic technical logs (e.g. errors).
  • Content - the media files (video or audio) and voice recordings you upload, and the AI output (transcript, keywords, hashtags) generated for you.
  • Billing data - transaction and subscription details handled via Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

2.2. How we use your data

We use your data to:

  • provide the VisTxt app and its core features;
  • process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • keep basic history of your previous jobs inside the app;
  • monitor performance and fix bugs;
  • send essential account or billing emails.

We do not sell your personal data, and we don’t use your private media files or voice notes to train public AI models.

2.3. Where your data is stored

VisTxt runs on Google Firebase and Google Cloud, which may store data in data centres in the EU, UK, US or other regions depending on Google’s infrastructure. Payments are processed by Stripe, which uses its own secure infrastructure.

2.4. How long we keep your data

We keep account and billing data for as long as reasonably needed for accounting, legal or security reasons.

Your files and generated results are securely stored in your library while your account is active, and you can delete individual items or your account at any time. You can request full account deletion at any time by emailing support@vistxt.com.

2.5. Sharing with third parties

We only share your data with service providers that are necessary to run VisTxt, for example:

  • Google Firebase / Google Cloud (hosting, storage, AI),
  • Stripe (payments and subscriptions),
  • Resend (email delivery and automation).
  • basic analytics and logging providers (for performance and error tracking).

These providers are under contractual obligations and do not have permission to use your data for their own unrelated marketing.

2.6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. UK/EU), you may have rights to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • request corrections to inaccurate information;
  • ask us to delete certain data, where possible;
  • object to certain kinds of processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@vistxt.com.

Refund Policy

3. Refund Policy

Last updated: 14 May 2026

3.1. Pay-As-You-Go credits

VisTxt PAYG credits are a digital consumable. When you use a credit to successfully process a file or recording, that credit is considered used and is generally non-refundable.

If there is a technical failure on our side (for example, the processing fails and still deducts a credit), we aim to reverse it automatically. If that doesn’t happen, email support@vistxt.com and we’ll review it.

3.2. PRO subscriptions

The PRO plan is billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the app or by contacting support.

  • When you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period.
  • We do not usually offer partial refunds for unused days, unless required by local law.

3.3. How to request a refund or help

If you think you’ve been charged incorrectly, or something went wrong with a payment, contact us as soon as possible at support@vistxt.com with:

  • the email linked to your VisTxt account, and
  • details of what happened (date, amount, what you were doing).
Cookies & Tracking

4. Cookies & Tracking

Last updated: 14 May 2026

4.1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. They help keep you signed in, remember preferences and allow basic analytics.

4.2. Cookies used by VisTxt

VisTxt itself does not use third-party ad trackers. However, the following services may set cookies or similar identifiers:

  • Firebase / Google - for authentication (keeping you signed in) and app functionality.
  • Stripe - for secure payment processing and fraud prevention.
  • Basic analytics / logs - to understand how the app performs and where errors occur.

4.3. Essential vs. optional cookies

Some cookies are essential - for example, those used to keep you logged in or to complete a payment. The app will not function correctly without them.

If we add optional analytics or A/B testing tools in future, we’ll aim to keep them lightweight and respectful, and may offer extra controls in the app or via a banner.

4.4. How to control cookies

You can:

  • clear cookies in your browser settings;
  • use private/incognito browsing; or
  • adjust site permissions in your browser to block or limit cookies.

If you block all cookies, parts of vistxt.com/app.html may not work correctly (for example, sign-in and payments).
